Why the money moves this way.
On most marketplaces you contract the freelancer directly and the platform charges you for the introduction — a listing fee, a subscription, or a percentage added to your budget. If the work does not arrive, your recourse is against a person you found on the internet.
Here the sponsor contracts Lancerscape Global Pvt Ltd, and Lancerscape contracts the freelancer separately. Two agreements, and we are on both. That is what lets us guarantee the delivery rather than merely hope for it.
It is also why the commission sits where it does. We are paid for standing behind the work, so we are paid out of the work — 10% of the project value, from the freelancer's payout, after the project has been paid for.
